A non-profit organization in France, Friends of Nigeria [FON] will on the 4th and 5th October 2018 gather Companies, business leaders, investors and public sector leaders from France and Nigeria in Paris, France, for the third edition of the Spotlight Nigeria Investment Forum tagged Partnership that Works.

The Forum seeks to offer a formidable platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange between French and Nigerian business leaders and investors, hence, business opportunities will be explored as well as valuable information exchanged with the sole aim of increasing business partnerships and bilateral relations between companies from both countries.

To hold at Mariott Rive Gauche Hotel And Convention Centre, Paris -17, Boulevard Saint-Jacques, Paris 75014 France, the gathering offers an opportunity to access relevant opportunities and stakeholders with respect to investing in Nigeria.

According to FON’s Vice-President / Director of Partnerships, Europe, Mr.Abiodun Dominic Odunuga, the forum will be featuring not less than 300 participants comprising of high government officials from Nigeria, CEOs, Senior Managers of organisations, French investors, trade agencies, and owners of SMEs, media companies and a host of other critical stakeholders.

“This year’s event is happening at an auspicious moment in the history of the Franco-Nigeria bilateral relationship. France President Emmanuel Macron recently made a historic visit to Nigeria to meet President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss mutually benefiting engagements that would foster the relationship between both countries. The French President also attended to some engagements and meetings that would focus on sectors such as tourism, culture, youth entrepreneurship and international trade,” Odunuga reveals to journalists.”

Odunuga further disclosed that: “the event offers a formidable platform for participants to access concrete investment opportunities in Nigeria, meet potential partners and sign deals. The B2B meetings will feature match-making between French and Nigerian Companies and seek to provide an opportunity for one-to-one discussions between companies participating. This is an opportunity for companies participating from Nigeria to discuss and explore business and project opportunities with French Companies operating in similar sectors and industries.

“The Conference and Plenary Sessions will be centered on investment opportunites across key sectors of the Nigerian economy. There will be a number of case studies presented of successful partnerships between French Companies and Nigerian Companies on concrete projects presented by the companies themselves.

“There will also be a session that Spotlights on Nigerian entrepreneurs running successful businesses in France; businesses turning over several millions of euros annually and creating employment opportunities here in France and contributing positively to the French economy.

Spotlight Nigeria 2018 will offer participants an opportunity to network together, build business contacts, sign deals and increase knowledge about opportunities presently existing for investments across Nigeria, across Key sectors of the economy.
