Fashion lovers turned up on Saturday June 29th for the official launch of Nigeria’s first Omni-channel retail company,PayPorte Global Systems. PayPorte has launched a redesign of their website, payporte.com; featuring more unique contemporary designs and interface.
The event started off with a press conference featuring the brand CEO Eyo Bassey and Adenike Bankole, Head of Product Management. Mr. Eyo Bassey disclosed that Payporte is now only a fashion focused business and is actively going into brick stores offline. The business has decided to have a niche to focus on that is easier and sustainable.
“The new PayPorte is more than just shopping; it’s a destination for your everyday lifestyle needs. We’ve got the best fashion, fashion accessories and wearable devices. We also have amazing packages for our customers such as instalment payments and ‘pay small small’ packages. ‘Pay small small’ simply means you can pay in bits for a fashion item on our store on a monthly basis and when your payment is complete your package will be delivered to your home or you pick up at our store. Our demographics are 16-35 male and female and thus we want to make it easy and comfortable as possible.
We’ll also be opening more offline stores across Lagos mainland and also in cities such as Ibadan, Enugu, and Abuja’ the CEO noted.
The event also featured a runway show with models displaying the wears available in the store and a fun after party! It also had fashion influencers such as Noble Igwe, Anto Leckky, Uriel and others in attendance. Photos below!
