A family is demanding justice after their 4-year-old daughter was raped, killed and body dumped at the Egerton University farm.
The body was discovered on Monday, four days after she had been reported missing.
“It had been covered with grass and her neck was found with marks of strangulation. We suspect the girl was abducted after arriving home from school last Thursday,” the father Bernard Rono told Citizen Digital.
Speaking at Egerton University mortuary during the postmortem exercise, Mr. Rono urged the police to ensure that they bring the culprits to book.
He further claimed that some of these criminals are known to villagers but still continue to roam freely.
Investigating officers who were present during the postmortem did not comment on the matter.
The girl’s burial has been scheduled for Wednesday at Tiritagoi village in Nessuit, Nakuru County.
