Jime is of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while Governor Ortom is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Tribunal Chairman, Justice Henry Odusiyi and his team which commenced sitting at about 9:37 am were yet to deliver judgment in the case by 6:17 pm when we compiled this report.
At the time of compiling this report, the tribunal was reviewing the arguments by all parties in the matter; taking replies on points of law; reviewing written addresses as well as the formulation of issues for determination and final pronouncement of judgment.
Earlier, the tribunal had ruled on seven applications/preliminary objections that were deferred to today.
Daily Independent, however, gathered that no matter the amount of time it would take, the tribunal intends to deliver judgment in the matter today.
Makurdi and indeed, the entire state is soaked in tension as the people of the state await the outcome of the judgment.
