As the Team Nigeria Wrestling contingent is ready to rumble at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, African champion, Blessing Oborodudu has set her eyes on making the country proud.

Oborodudu is not new to the Commonwealth Games as she has participated in the last two editions in Gold Coast 2018, Glasgow 2014 and Delhi 2010.

Apart from taking part, the 33-year-old freestyler has also won Gold in 2018, Silver in 2010 and bronze medal in 2014.
While speaking ahead of the event billed for Friday, the African champion declared her readiness to make the country proud and also solicited fans’ support for them to achieve their set objectives.

“I’m fully prepared and ready to go as you can see. They (fans) should pray for me and keep believing in me and by the grace of God I will fly tomorrow (Friday),” she said.
