Italian football manager Bruno Giordano has given reason why he rates in-form Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen better than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall the Nigerian was in the transfers news regarding a move to Old Trafford during the window, and a replacement for the Portugal captain who wishes to leave the Red Devils for Champions League football after finish last season for a place in the UEFA Europa League.
During an interview granted to Mattino, Giordano gave his thoughts on the new Napoli strike partnership duo of Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.
The duo have been an instant hit and fans delight after scoring five goals between themselves as the Osimhen has got two goals while the Georgian has three.
“Osimhen is an incredible player and we didn’t find out until now. He opens the space, takes on defenders on the run off play and then scores.
“His greatest virtue, header, which is fundamental for him. He is even stronger than Cristiano Ronaldo scoring with his head.
“Kvaratskhelia has a carefree way of playing: he seems to be good playing from the beach. And it is nice to see that he is not paying for the responsibility and the burden of replacing an important player like Insigne.”
