It was gathered that the students were returning home from school last Friday when the incident happened.

According to Duk County Commissioner, John Chatim, the incident happened 34 kilometres (12 miles) from the school.

Two girls were rescued in the process while two others are believed to have been kidnapped.

Chatim said the students were footing before bumping into the wrong hands of suspected criminals.

“The culprits killed two girls and abducted two boys,’ said the commissioner.

“We are still following up on the culprits in order to rescue the abductees,” he said.
