Iheanacho Shines, Scores In Leicester City Win Over Aston Villa

English Premier League side Leicester City continued its resurgence in the league as they secured a remarkable 4-2 win against Aston Villa at Villa Park.

As promised, the manager of the Foxes, Brendan Rodgers started Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelehi Ihanacho in the game and he never disappoints.

It was the host that drew the first blood in the 9th minute through Ole Watkins but James Maddison responded 3 minutes later off an assist from the Nigeria international.

Leicester City defender Soutar restored Villa’s lead through an own goal in the 32nd minute but Iheanacho scored a leveller in the 41st minute of the game.

Just before halftime, Iheanacho proved his class again as he assisted newly acquired Brazilian winger Tete to make it 2-3 for Leicester City.

Iheanacho was subbed off in the 67th minute before David Praet sealed the game for the away side in the 79th minute and ensured a 2-4 victory.
