Victorious Rivers United have on Tuesday arrived in Nigeria and landed at the Murtala International Airport Lagos.
The Pride of Rivers on Sunday proved the bookmakers wrong by beating DC Motema Pembe 0-1 away win in Luanda, Angola.
Ghanaian midfielder, Paul Acquah, netted the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute and took the Nigeria champions to the top of the table.
They arrived in Lagos on Tuesday morning at 11:55am and expected to proceed to Rivers and start preparing for the next game.
Rivers United are topping their group with six points while ASEC Mimosa and Diables Noir occupied second and third positions with four points each.
