Ghanaian television and radio show host, Deloris Frimpong Manso, better known as Delay, has advised the youth not to let the internet rush them, stating that life is not a competition.
According to her, life works for individuals in their own time zones adding that everyone runs their race in their own time and success does not have a fixed timeline.
The 40-year-old presenter used examples of people who achieved success at different stages of their lives, including those who became CEOs at an early age, those who waited years before securing a good job, and those who got married or remained single, to back her point.

“New York is three hours ahead of California, but that doesn’t make California slow. Someone graduated at the age of 22 but waited five years before securing a good job. Someone became a CEO at 25 and died at 50. While another became a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 years. Someone is still single, While someone else got married.
“Obama retired at 55, and Trump started at 70. People around you might seem to be ahead of you, and some might seem to be behind you. But everyone is running their own race, in their own time. Life is about waiting for the right moment to act. You are very much on time” she wrote.
