Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci sets new Guinness World Record with 100 Hours of Cooking

Renowned Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

Surpassing the previous record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019, Hilda Baci cooked for an impressive 100 hours.

Lata Tondon had held the previous record after cooking for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.

However, Hilda Baci surpassed this milestone, setting the new record at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.

The extraordinary cooking marathon took place at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State.
