African champions and Nigeria star Blessing Oborodudu has been named the Wrestler of the Month for May by the World Wrestling.
Oborodudu has been a big revelation on the mat winning a record 13 African titles and clinching the Olympic Silver medal.
She was named on Friday alongside American Amit ELOR who won her first senior Pan-Am title, dominating her opponents 36-0.
On her part, Oborududu won an unprecedented 13th African title in Tunisia, clinching GOLD in women’s wrestling 68kg category.
