Nigeria-eligible Joseph Hungbo has completed a permanent move to German Second Division side 1. FC Nürnberg from the English Championship side Watford FC.
The 23-year-old made only seven Championship appearances for Watford last season, all of them from the bench, and started in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
He was later loaned out to Huddersfield for the second half of the season, scoring three times in 14 outings.
Hungbo arrived at Watford in the summer of 2019, having been released by Crystal Palace.
He made one appearance in the FA Cup during the 2019/20 season and then made six outings for Aldershot on loan in the National League during the first half of the 2020/21 campaign.
He returned to Watford at the start of 2021 and made five appearances from the bench.
Nürnberg finished 14th in Bundesliga 2 last season, five places behind Kaiserslautern.
