Nigeria’s Women U18 team on Saturday evening emerged winners of the IHF African Continental trophy beating Guinea in the final.
The Nigerian side on Thursday defeated Rwanda 38-30 in the semi-final of the championship with Prudence Onyinyechukwu Samuel winning the most valuable player.
They faced Guinea in the final on Saturday and dispatched them in less than 1 hour.
The girls defeated Guinea 33-18 to be champion of Africa and qualify for the IHF Trophy Intercontinental phase.
