European football body has released the list of 30 players listed for the 2023 Ballon d’Or and Nigeria’s Super Falcons attacker Asisat Oshoala featured prominently on the list.
The list which was released on Wednesday evening featured some outstanding female footballers across the World.
Nigeria international who had a decent season with the Spanish Iberdrola side FC Barcelona Feminine was considered to be among the best 30 female players in the World.
After having a fruitful season with Barcelona, Oshoala also provided a good performance for the Super Falcons at the just concluded 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia.
Her goal against one of the hosts Australia ensured a maximum point for the 9-time African champions.
For the top award, the 6-time women African player of the year will compete with Caicedo Bonmati, Sam Kerr, and a host of others.
