Italian Serie A Champions Napoli continued their struggles in the 2023/2024/ season as they played out another barren draw against Bologna.
Napoli under the new manager Rudi Garcia has been having it hard to win games losing to Lazio and drawing against Genoa in their last games.
They played away to Bologna on Sunday after a remarkable 1-2 away win in the UEFA Champions League against Sporting Braga during the week.
The Partenopei missed a lot of scoring chances from Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Kvicka Kvaratshkelia and Raspadori.
Napoli was presented with an opportunity to win the game when they were awarded a penalty but it was missed by Osimhen before he was replaced in the 84th minute.
The Nigerian international was furious with the club boss for substituting him for Simone and the coach also showed a reaction to the penalty miss.
Osimhen has now failed to score in the last four matches for Napoli.
