The hope of the Nigeria’s Yellow Greens to secure their second consecutive win in the ongoing International Cricket Council T20 African World Cup qualifier suffered a setback on Monday as they lost to Uganda.
The Nigerian side began the qualifier with a defeat to Kenya, had their second game against Rwanda abandoned and won their 3rd game against Tanzania on Sunday.
They faced Uganda on Monday with their confidence on high but found the Ugandans a hard nut to crack.
The game breakdown indicated that Nigeria – 99/10 (19.1 overs) and Uganda – 100/1 (17.3 overs), and Cricket Cranes of Uganda won by 9 wickets.
