Ahead of the first leg of the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations qualifier, the Cape Verde women’s national team has departed their camp for Nigeria.
The team had been in a closed camp in Dakar Senegal getting ready to face Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
Super Falcons reached the second round of the qualifier after they defeated their counterpart from Tanzania.
The Cape Verdean team is expected to arrive in Abuja later on Tuesday and they will have their compulsory training at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja on Wednesday.
The game against Nigeria is slated for the same venue on Thursday.
