R&B singer, Ashanti, and her colleague, Nelly, are reportedly expecting a child together.
According to US Weekly, Ashanti will be a first-time parent with her boyfriend, Nelly, who also has his daughter Chanelle, 29, and son Cornell Haynes III, 24.
It is reported that the couple,who reconnected this year a decade after their 2013 breakup, are expecting a child after hinting at a pregnancy during Nelly’s Black and White Ball on Sunday.
Nelly had put his hand on Ashanti’s stomach during a joint performance at the event.
Nelly and Ashanti first sparked dating rumors back in February when they were spotted donning matching chains.
They were then spotted holding hands at a boxing match in April. This isn’t Nelly and Ashanti’s first romantic entanglement.
Thus both began dating in 2003 and were together for 11 years before going their separate ways in 2014.
