After the 5-1 demolition of Bayelsa United by Plateau United in MatchDay 14 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, the Jos-based side took to their social media account to mock their opponents.
Albert Hilary bagged a hat-trick for the Jos-based side as they emerged the biggest winners of Match Day 14 against Bayelsa United.
In a post on their official X handle @plateau_united, the club wished them well and thanked the Yenagoa side for putting up a good fight and decent performance.
It reads: “Dear Bayelsa United, we hope you arrived Yenagoa safely. Your safe arrival at your city gladens our hearts immensely. Thank you for giving us a good fight in Jos on Sunday. We will be with you in Yenagoa in the reverse fixture, please be nice.”
Bayelsa United will confront Sporting Lagos on Thursday on MatchDay 15 while Plateau United face Kwara United in Ilorin.
