The manager of the English Championship club Leicester City Enzo Maresca has confirmed that the injured Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will join the national team camp.
Iheanacho has been out of action for quite some time and Ndidi missed the club’s last game against Cardiff on Monday.
Maresca while speaking to Leicestershirelive, stated that both players will be allowed to join the Super Eagles camp in Abu Dhabi.
“We’ll see if they’re going to keep them or send them back. But they are both injured unfortunately for us”, he said.
Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro hopes both players recover in time to be part of the team to Ivory Coast.
