The Nigeria senior men’s national team, Super Eagles versus Argentina national team has been called off for the second times.
The international warm-up game which was first scheduled in China was shifted to hold in the United States of America on 26th March, 2024.
A chieftain of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday who preferred to speak on condition of anonymity with www.bsnsports.com.ng said the organisers were unable to secure visas for the number of people on the list sent to them was the reason it was cancelled.
“The NFF has just been been informed that the friendly match between Nigeria and Argentina scheduled for the United States of America has been called off because the organiser couldn’t get visas for us.”
“The US are strict on issuance of the visas, the organiser told us. So, we can’t get visas therefore the friendly match is no longer to hold.”
He continued, “Once the date is FIFA window for international games, we are looking forward to having another country to replace the World champions to play friendly match with Super Eagles.” He told BSN Sports.
