The 2023 African Cup of Nations trophy has landed in France ahead of the International friendly involving Ivory Coast, Uruguay, and the Benin Republic.
The Elephant of Cote d’Ivoire won the trophy on home soil after they overcame the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in the final.
Since capturing the trophy, the Ivorians have embarked on various tours and visits with the much-coveted trophy.
The Ivorians will face Uruguay and Benin in an international friendly in France and the trophy is expected to be by the sideline.
The trophy touched down at the Ivory Coast embassy in France in the company of the team coach Emerson Fae.
