All-African Games Champion Chidi Okezie, stormed to a Personal Best (PB) of 44.97s to win the Men’s 400m at the Edmonton Athletics Invitational, bettering the Olympic Standard.
He also picked the ticket to the Paris Olympics Games.
He finished ahead of Wil London III and DaeQwan Butler, 2nd and 3rd respectively, in an identical 45.55s.
Recall that at the All African Games in Ghana, he ran an absolutely stunning race in the men’s 400m final, storming to a Personal Best (PB) of 45.06s, the fastest time by a Nigerian athlete in 9 years.
