When the 2024 Paris Olympic Games take off, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will be without one of its most influential midfielder Halimatu Ayinde.
The update from her club on Thursday afternoon indicated that the Nigerian midfielder had injured her knee.
The club further stated that she will not recover in time for the games
” Unfortunately Halimatu Ayinde injured her knee during training yesterday and will missed the Olympics.
” We wish her speedy recovery, come on Halimatu”, the club said.
Falcons will face Brazil in the opening group game on the 25th of July.
