Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has said he’s ready to give his utmost best to ensure that Bayer Leverkusen achieve bigger things in the upcoming season.
Bayer Leverkusen emerged as the winner of the German Bundesliga last season for the first time in their history.
Despite his injury worries, the Nigerian International was able to contribute 21 goals in 34 games for the club.
“We enjoyed what happened, how we made history and were celebrated by the club.
And everyone that witnessed it wants to witness more. I’m ready to give 100 percent to achieve what we achieved last year, and I’m sure it’s the same for the rest of the players.” – Counter attack podcast.
Leverkusen will be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season and Boniface is expected to lead the team’s attack.
