Saudi side Al Ahli are set to challenge Premier League top guns Chelsea in acquiring the services of Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen with roughly a few days to the summer transfer market Deadline Day.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Saudi Pro-League outfits are prepared to improve their previous bid that was refused to submit an all-in offer to persuade the 25-year-old to move to Saudi Arabia in favour of remaining within European football.
As it stands, Chelsea and PSG both remain well within the race for Osimhen as they attempt to secure a low-ball fee for the clinical finisher from the Partenopei, as there remains very little time before their mercato comes to a close.
With the former Lille forward desperate to part ways with coach Antonio Conte’s side, a lucrative offer may be enough to convince Osimhen towards a move to Saudi in favour of remaining within European football.
