The coach of the Black Satellites of Ghana, Desmond Ofei, has revealed the reason they suffered defeat against Nigeria.
Ghana lost to the Flying Eagles of Nigeria in the final of the WAFU B U20 on Wednesday. The coach attributed the defeat to the absence of some key players.
“Losing nine key players who were crucial to our success at the African Games was a significant blow.
“But this allowed us to build a new core of young talent, and these boys have stepped up tremendously.
“They deserve this qualification just as much as anyone else”, he said.
