KISUMU, Kenya, Dec 25 – A seven-storey commercial building collapsed in Rongo town on Wednesday afternoon, prompting an urgent rescue operation.
The incident, reported on Wednesday afternoon, left the number of people trapped inside the rubble unclear.
Emergency responders, including the Migori County Fire Brigade, are on-site working to search for survivors.
A woman was rushed to the hospital after jumping from the buildind to escape. Her condition remains unknown.
Rescue efforts are ongoing.
