The hope of the Syli Stars of Guinea to be part of the 2025 African Cup of Nations has been dashed.
The Guinea Football Federation lodged a complaints that Tanzania used ineligible player to play in the final game of the qualifier.
The disciplinary committee of the African soccer governing took a decision on the matter on Thursday and nullified the protest of Guinea.
Instead Tanzania was fined $50000 for lack of consciousness in their part.
