The power of training and retraining has once again been underscored with the Honorable Minister of youth and sports Development Chief Sunday Dare advocating for the empowerment of Youth through digital training.
Towards the actualization of this, the Ministry plans to hold a digital training for youth at the National Youth Development centre in Odeomu, Osun State from April 11th- 30th.
Only last month youths were trained in fashion Designing and agro farming.
The Minister assured that the introduction of the Digital skills training will provide job opportunity and make youths employers of labor.
To this end, Youths across the 36 states including the FCT will be trained in various Digital skills such as; Robotic and artificial intelligence, Mobile device repair and training, Programming, Digital marketing, Web design, and Cinematography among others.
The Minister called on Nigerian youth to avail themselves of the advantage of this training by learning new skills to become self-reliant.
