It’s medal rain for the Pacesetter State on day 6 of the Nigerian Olympics.

Adejoke Durogbade opened the floor in the early hours of today by winning her second medal in Edo when she won bronze in Cycling 200m sprint female.

Olayode Hauwawu followed suit by winning the state’s first silver medal at the event in the 67kg Taekwando.

Edward Shinyi picked up from where the two stopped as he won silver medal in the individual Kata men (Karate)

Eweje adeleye also won bronze medal in male Nandao Taolu in Kungfu event while the pick of the pack was David Joseph Ouwadamilare who won the State first gold medal by winning the +100kg Judo final.

Oyo now has 11 medals in total
