Soname splash 1m on Para Table tennis

The chief Executive Officer, Bet9ja and patron Sunday Odebode Para Table Tennis Foundation, Kunle Soname has splashed one million naira on the athletes for their exploits at the recently concluded Tokyo 2020 Paralympics Games.

The athletes won bronze in the open team table tennis even Class 9 Male.
The athletes are Tajudeen Agunbiade, Olufemi Alabi and Victor Farinloye.

Soname doled out the cash reward on the athletes during the presentation of the medals to him at his Ikene resident.
During the presentation,the founder of the foundation who also doubles as the chief coach of the country’s national Para Table Tennis team thanked the season football administrator for his support to the players before the games and promised that the players are ready to win more laurels for the country.

“We are here to express our appreciation to you for your unalloyed support and to assure you that the athletes are ready to win more medals at international events”, he said.
Responding, an elated Soname having commended the athletes for winning bronze urged them to be more steadfast in their pursuit to win more laurels and that they should go for gold at the next games.

“I am proud to have been associated with the Foundation and I will continue to do more as part of my effort to support special sports athletes. As the tradition, I am ready for the annual Valeu Jet Para Table Tennis Open scheduled for 14-19 December in Lagos.
