The leadership at Paris Saint-Germain could be looking a little different heading into next season. Over the past few weeks, the future of sporting director Leonardo has been the subject of rumors.
According to Foot Mercato, Leonardo’s position is highly strained and the staff present in Qatar has severe doubts regarding the continuation of the Brazilian club chief in the French capital.
The report cites poorly managed files during the transfer window, with Kylian Mbappé at the top of the list. When it comes to replacing Leonardo, PSG dreams of having the duo of former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane and former Arsenal boss, Arsène Wenger.
PSG would like to see Zidane behind the bench leading the squad; meanwhile, the capital club would put Wenger in the sporting director role. However, there is a plan B should this dream not be realized.
Foot Mercato added that Tottenham Hotspur club chief Fabio Paratici is a name that Les Parisiens could pluck if he wants out of north London.
