Arsenal return hint: Dani Ceballos takes to social media to celebrate Aubameyang’s opener vs Liverpool

Former Arsenal midfielder Dani Cabellos has this evening dropped a potential hint over his future, during the Gunners’ Community Shield outing.

Auba on target

Mikel Arteta’s men are currently locked in action with Liverpool at Wembley, in the English season’s traditional curtain-raiser.

The north Londoners booked their spot in the showpiece clash courtesy of clinching FA Cup glory earlier this month.

And the opening 45 minutes in the English capital this evening have seen Arsenal’s cup final hero versus Chelsea back at it again.

An entertaining half of football, during which both sides looked dangerous in attacking areas, has resulted in the underdogs heading into the interval a goal to the good, courtesy of star man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The game’s solitary goal thus far came with 12 minutes on the clock, when a superb team move eventually saw Bukayo Saka pick Aubameyang out with a pinpoint cross-field pass, before Arsenal’s captain bent a stunning effort beyond the grasp of Alisson from the edge of the area:

‘Vamos’

And, as outlined above, one individual who certainly appeared to enjoy ‘Auba”s strike was Dani Ceballos.

Spanish midfielder Ceballos of course spent last season on loan at the Emirates, playing a key role in the club’s impressive run-in, and eventual FA Cup title.

As such, there have since been widespread calls amongst the Arsenal faithful for the 24-year-old to be brought back on a permanent basis, as Mikel Arteta’s men attempt to reestablish themselves as Premier League title contenders.

As a result, the latest social media activity on Ceballos’ part has inevitably sent ‘Arsenal Twitter’ into meltdown.

Taking to his official account a short time ago, the Spaniard posted a Tweet, celebrating Aubameyang’s opener versus Liverpool, accompanied by the simple caption ‘VAMOS’:
