Brighton pursue Caicedo
Manchester United have completely dropped out of the race for Moises Caicedo. The Ecuadorian midfielder was previously linked with the move to the northwest and had spoken out about his support of Man Utd.
“My challenge is one day to be in the elite of world football. I have proposed this to myself, my dream is to play in the big leagues,” Caicedo said. “The Premier League, Manchester United are my favourite club.
However according to Fabrizio Romano, it is south coast team Brighton and Hove Albion that are looking to secure a deal for the Independiente starlet.
“Brighton have submitted an official bid to sign Moises Caicedo. Independiente del Valle are open to accept – now it’s time for personal terms. The race is still on with other clubs interested. Manchester United won’t sign him,” reported Romano.

Manchester United have already secured the signing of Amad Diallo from Atalanta and therefore will not be too concerned about missing out on Caicedo who they had scouted significantly.

Potter provides Bissouma update
Whilst Brighton wants to bring in players, the threat of bigger sides stealing their top talent is always on the agenda. Yves Bissouma is one of the club’s most prized assets and has drawn quite some attention for his performances in the Premier League which has helped to keep his side in the division on multiple occasions.
“We have had no interest as far as I am aware,” said Potter. “Yves has probably played this season as much as he has played, he is enjoying his football, he is making steps.
“He is probably playing as well as he has done during his time here. That’s good for us, we need to focus on that.
101 recently suggested that Arsenal should look to sign the Malian midfielder by providing an analytical insight into the player which you can read here. Arsenal are in need of central midfield reinforcement and by signing Premier League proven talent would ensure that immediate impact could be achieved.
