Cesc Fabregas believes Hakim Ziyech has the vision ‘a top team like Chelsea’ need

Ziyech impressing

Despite his limited minutes on the pitch this season, it is obvious that Chelsea have found a real bargain in Hakim Ziyech.

The Moroccan missed the start of the campaign due to a knee injury picked up during a pre-season friendly vs Brighton.

However, since recently returning, Ziyech has proven to be one of the Blues’ standout stars.

The winger has already provided three assists and one goal in just four Premier League outings, with his left foot a threat to any opposing backline.

Cesc Fabregas praises Ziyech

Ziyech’s fine start to the campaign has seen several of his new teammates, including Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount, publicly praise the 27-year-old.

And now, the former Ajax standout has received plaudits from a Chelsea legend.

The individual in question is Cesc Fabregas, who knows a thing or two about providing quality in attacking areas for the Blues.

When speaking about Ziyech, the Spaniard revealed his opinion that the north African has introduced the type of ‘vision’ that top sides like Chelsea need, with Frank Lampard’s men having been lacking in this area both last season and during the early stages of the current campaign:

“He’s a very good player. He has this vision that you need in a top team like Chelsea, who want to win and be champions.

“You could see that they were lacking ideas last season and maybe at the beginning of this season, but with Ziyech, you can see that he has this last pass.

“It’s not only that he sees it, it’s that he makes it right, at the right time. That’s the decision-making that we talk about nowadays.”
