Upcoming Nollywood actress, Temidayo Morkinyo, has come forward with serious accusations against her senior colleague, Shoneye Olamilekan, popularly known as Papa Showw, for allegedly physically assaulting her.
Taking to her Instagram story, Temidayo detailed the incident, claiming that Papa Showw, accompanied by some individuals, forcefully entered the movie set in Ibadan, Oyo State, and proceeded to attack her. She asserted that she was punched in the face, resulting in a broken lip.
The assault reportedly took place on Thursday, May 18, after she reported Papa Showw’s unruly behavior to their superiors.
Recounting the events, Temidayo explained that on Wednesday, while on set, Papa Showw rudely demanded that she buy him a drink. Despite feeling disrespected by his tone, she complied with his request.
However, she later decided to inform their bosses, Afeez Abiodun Seriki and Niyi Johnson, about the incident. The bosses assured her that they would address the matter with Papa Showw.
These allegations have sparked a wave of concern within the entertainment industry, shedding light on the issue of workplace safety and respect.
