Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade, has finally addressed claims that she owes her late colleague, Murphy Afolabi, N250,000.
It was earlier reported earlier that Adunni Ade had been publicly called out for allegedly owing late actor, Murphy Afolabi.
During his 8-day Fiday Prayer held in his honor, his burial committee called out the actress for being indebted to Murphy Afolabi.
The committee claimed that Adunni Ade owed Murphy Afolabi N250,000 before his death.
They urged her to return the money.
“Adunni Ade please return the N250,000 that you are owing the Late Murphy Afolabi”.

In a public statement issued by her team, Adunni Ade debunked the reports of being indebted to the late actor, saying, “Murphy Afolabi had reached out to me for a job last year and had paid me the sum of N150,000. Unfortunately, due to the death of my brother, I couldn’t fulfill the job and I refunded the actor his money when he tried to make another agreement with me.”
The statement aims to clarify the situation, with Adunni Ade providing an explanation and asserting her innocence regarding the alleged debt.
