American singer, Bebe Rexha has provided an update to her fans following an incident where a man threw a phone and struck her in the face during a concert in New York City on Sunday, June 18.
During her performance on her Best F’n Night Of My Life tour at The Rooftop at Pier 17, the singer/songwriter, 33, was hit in the face by a mobile phone.
The individual responsible for the incident has been identified as Nicolas Malvagna, a luxury dog kennel worker.
Bebe Rexha took to Instagram the following day, sharing two close-up selfies that revealed her bruised left eye, with tape placed over her eyebrow to cover a cut.
Despite the visible injuries, Bebe reassured her fans, stating, “I’m good.”
The man who threw the phone at the singer was apprehended during the concert.
In a video that quickly went viral, Bebe can be seen singing and moving toward the front of the stage before collapsing to her knees in pain as the phone strikes her directly in the face. Medics rushed to the stage to assist her, and she was subsequently escorted out of the concert.
