David Adeleke, an ward-winning Nigerian singer also known as Davido, says money does not give people the right to disrespect others.
He has urged his followers to be kind to people that appear inferior to them.
It will be called in March that the singer had said people felt he would not go far as a musician due to his wealthy background.
“Everybody just came together and I saw joy in that room…they were like this dude really beat the odds,” he had said.
“I was predicted to probably have one or two songs because my daddy has money. Some said ‘he’s going to do two or three songs and we’re going to push him out of the way.’
“But 11 years later, I defeated them and I’m not even 30 yet. So, the experience really touched me.”
According to his tweet during the weekend, he disclosed that whilemoney might give people the best cars and other luxuries in life, itshould not be used to humiliate others.
He tweeted, “Money might get you a faster car, a bigger house orthe best VIP seats but it doesn’t give you the right to treat otherswith less any differently. Class and decency have no price tagattached. Be Kind!!!!!!!”
