Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Shay has revealed that the best decision she ever made was to break up with her partner.
Speaking to Empress Gifty on the “U Cook” show, Wendy Shay explained that she endured a broken heart that even led her to release some hit songs.
“I am free now and think it is one of my best decisions. Sometimes it is good to leave some people. I make a lot of money now and am now a global artist.
“When you go to South Africa, I am very big there. Even though I was big in New Zealand and Figi Island, Survivor is one of the songs I’ve made huge cash from,” she said.
The Ruff Town Records Artiste acknowledged that she wasn’t putting in the work that came with the relationship because she was pretty much engaged in her work.
However, breaking up with her lover was something that hurt her so much indicating that “Broken heart does not care if you are a celebrity or not, adding that it is clear a no respecter of person”.
