Sharon Adeleke, the elder sister of popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has answered the burning question of why she works despite her father’s wealth.
While trying to correct the misconception in a video posted to her Instagram page, Sharon reaffirmed that her father’s fortune was never hers to keep; rather, it was a gift that allowed her to receive the best education possible and lead the life she has.
However, Sharon continued that she developed the mentality of providing for her family as a result of encounters with wealthy British children who insisted on accumulating fortune away from their parents.
“I went to school, I have a BSc, I have a Master’s degree, I have a big brain and I should not work because my father is rich?” she said
