Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith has achieved a remarkable feat by setting up a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
He cooked for an impressive 802 hours and 25 minutes, surpassing the previous record held by Irishman Alan Fisher.
Chef Smith began his cook-a-thon on February 1 and completed it on March 5, with a star-studded event at the Amadia Shopping Centre at Spintex.
The event saw numerous celebrities visiting the venue to show their support.
The previous record was 119 hours and 57 minutes, but Chef Smith more than doubled that time, cooking for over a month.
His record-breaking achievement was announced at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday.
This remarkable achievement has earned Chef Smith a place in the Guinness World Records book and has made Ghana proud.
