Ghana’s new Afrobeats sensation, Gyakie has been billed to perform on the same stage as Usher, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, among others, at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival.
The Global Citizen Festival will be held in Accra on the 24th of September, 2022.The annual festival started 10 years ago as an Initiative of Global Poverty Project by Ryan and Gall.
Gyakie who became famous barely 2 years ago with her Song, ‘Forever’ has since achieved a lot for herself and performed on several prominent stages adding this upcoming festival to her book of achievements.
In less than 3 years in the Ghana Music Industry, she has won the Emerging Woman of the Year and Woman of the Year at the 2021 and 2022 3 Music Awards respectively.
In addition to that, the remix of ‘Forever‘ featuring Omah Lay bagged the International Collaboration of the Year at the just ended 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA)
