Nigerian singer and YBNL Princess, Temmie Ovwasa, has expressed her unconventional perspective on heaven and hell, stating that she would rather choose hell than be in the company of Christians in heaven.
In a recent interview on Doyin David’s podcast, “Doyin’s Corner,” Temmie Ovwasa shared her thoughts on the matter. Contrary to popular belief, she does not believe in the existence of hell or the concept of eternal damnation.
“I don’t think I am going to hell. I joke about it often because it tends to provoke a reaction, and I find amusement in that,” she asserted. “However, I genuinely don’t believe in the existence of hell. I don’t subscribe to the idea of an eternal pit of damnation. In fact, I would rather go there than be stuck with Christians in heaven.”
Temmie Ovwasa went on to elaborate on her perspective, highlighting the negative experiences she has encountered with certain individuals who identify as Christians. She expressed disappointment in the behavior of some Christians, particularly those who reach out to her through direct messages (DMs) to condemn and pass judgment on her.
“Every day, I receive messages from Christians in my DMs, condemning me to hell. This constant barrage of criticism is not what Jesus was preaching,” she explained. “In my personal experience, Christians have been the most unkind and judgmental people I have encountered. Therefore, I would rather distance myself from them and their company.”
