Controversial social media activist Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, said he intentionally pranked Nigerians with the missing N180 million to teach them a lesson.
He added that no money is missing from his NGO account.
In a video he shared on social media on Tuesday, VDM said he pulled the stunt of the missing N180 million just to show that “80 of the people that use social media are dumb.”
According to him, the money donated to his NGO is still intact.
“80% of the people that use social media are dumb and the whole thing that happened with the N180 million is a clear opportunity to show you.
“I deliberately did it to just show you people that you are stupid. No money is missing, my money is secured. The way people are so excited about bad news is really sad.
“I told my website guy, shut the website, let us use these people catch a cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this.” he said
