Sandra Ababio sets the record straight regarding the relationship rumors surrounding her and actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, revealing that she initially had no interest in his advances.
During her appearance on United Showbiz on Saturday, Ababio joined Lilwin, who was also a guest on the lively show. The burning question was posed to Sandra – had there ever been a romantic relationship between her and Lilwin, as the rumors strongly suggested?
Sandra didn’t directly answer the question, instead choosing to highlight the significant role Lilwin played in her entry into Kumawood, the Akan-language film industry based in Kumasi.
She explained that Lilwin persistently urged her to join Kumawood, despite her lack of interest. Sandra revealed that he pleaded with her numerous times, but she repeatedly declined his advances until she eventually relented.
Ababio further disclosed that being an Accra-born individual of Ashanti descent, she had limited connections in Kumasi. As a result, Lilwin became her main point of contact and support in everything she pursued, which inadvertently sparked the relationship rumors.
