Mabel Makun’s bitter experience at the Immigration Service Office was recorded and shared to her Instagram page, the video that Mabel had posted to her Instagram page showcased the unkempt and unhygienic state of the Immigration service passport office.
Appealing to the government, Mabel emphasized that both the staff and the applicants deserved to be in a conducive environment.
In her caption, Mabel highlighted the irony of Nigeria being one of Africa’s top oil producers, ranking 11th globally. Yet the state of affairs in the country remains poor.
“My experience today at the Nigerian Immigration Service passport office. Location: 5 assibifi road Agidingbi Ikeja. Nobody should be subjected to working in such an environment. The officers/staff and applicants deserve better.
Nigeria is one of Africa’s top oil producers and a major exporter of crude oil and petroleum products to the United States of America.
Nigeria ranks 11th of 20 countries with the highest oil reserves in the world. I have so much to say but I will stop here for now.
