Cheslie Kryst, a citizen of the United States of America and former Miss USA in the year 2019 has died at 30.
The family of Kryst and the New York City Police Department have ascertained that the painful incident happened early this week.
According to the police, the former Miss USA died after jumping from a building in Manhattan.
An extract of statement from the family read, “In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.”
The 2019 Miss USA winner had earlier shared a photo on her Instagram page with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.”
She was an attorney who earned three degrees from two universities. Asides from practising law until her death, she was an entertainment correspondent for Extra TV.
“Our hearts are broken. Charlie was not just a vital part of our show. She was a beloved part of our Extra family and touched the entire staff. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends,” Extra TV she worked said.
